THE WHY

Our minds are full of ideas, some better, some worse. Oftentimes people aren't brave and encouraged to share them aloud. We imagined a tool that helps teams jot all their ideas and collectively decide which are great to implement and which are better to ice.

This project was like an exercise in iteration and pivot.

Originally a tool made for startup geeks to pitch and critique each, in the end an attempt to solve workplace communication. We were struggling for a feasible business-model and our contacts urged that we explore the enterprise market.

SO WE GOT STARTED

When we finally settled on the new course, the real design process started. From the beginning my goal was to develop Pitchme alongside companies and employees. They were direct contributors to our research and practically stakeholders in the project. They invested with their time, confidence and trust.

 
 
 

Napkin workshops

Qualitative research and a group of frustrated employees brewing ideas together with me was our way to design Pitchme people would use.

 
 
 
 

Open beta

I think it’s important not to be too secretive about ideas. One of the most beneficial exercises to us was when we opened Pitchme to free use by our incubator.

 
 
 
 

Research

Building Pitchme my goal was to make as few uninformed moves as possible. Most of the product decisions were made based on qualitative interviews and
